Lindsay Folmes, Reflexologist

My name is Lindsay Folmes and I am your certified Reflexologist. I am a wife to an amazing and supportive husband, together we have two kids, one girl and one boy, along with our two huge dogs. Our family passion is riding dirt bikes and racing in hare scrambles around Manitoba. I have been a stay at home mom since my daughter was born in 2012, and now my son starts Kindergarten next year, so I have decided to live out my dream and get back in the work force with a passion of my own. Reflexology came to me when I researched the ways that it can help others. Knowing that people who suffer from minor ailments to people who are going through chemotherapy can benefit from Reflexology is what got me involved. I am on the right track to have a healthier lifestyle and I want to help others in their lifestyle too.

Krissy Black, Certified Personal Trainer

Krissy Black has always been passionate about fitness and helping others achieve their personal health goals. She graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Kinesiology Degree in 2008 and became a Certified Personal Trainer through Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology in 2007. She has worked with a wide range of clients throughout her fitness career, from healthy athletes to persons with disabilities and/or health conditions.

As a mom of two, Krissy knows the challenges of postpartum recovery and becoming fit again while balancing her mom-work life. After having her first child, she realized the important role of the pelvic floor in strengthening the core and became interested in helping moms get back into shape safely. Finding ways to be active and eating healthy while being a stay at home mom has become a new passion for her. She knows that motherhood can be challenging and moms who take care of themselves first can better handle these challenges. Krissy is also a Certified Pre and Postnatal instructor and has started her own classes specifically for moms of any age and women to not only improve their fitness, but their posture, movement quality, physical ability and overall wellness as well.

Aside from being a mom, Krissy enjoys weightlifting, healthy baking, gymnastics, yoga and dancing. She started taking hula hooping lessons in the last year and it has become another passion in her life. She believes that it is never too late to learn new skills. Her motto is: Never stop working on yourself and improving yourself and you will never reach your ceiling.
